Carleton Heights and Rideau View are south of the experimental farm and flanked by Fisher Avenue on the west and the Rideau Canal system on the east. Very desirable and secluded homes border the Canal, while a variety well-spaced, well-kept newer and older homes are nestled between Prince of Whales Drive and Fisher Avenue. Townhome complexes are interspersed throughout the area, along with new development to the south and a high-rise rental complex in Carleton Heights. Carleton University and the downtown core are easily accessed from this quiet residential enclave.
