Bordered on the North by Baseline Ave and to the South by Carling, Carlington and Central Park are family-oriented communities situated adjacent to Ottawa’s experimental farm, right in the centre of the city. Built up in the mid-century, Carlington boasts several mature tree- lined streets with well kept homes as well as large duplexes. To the south of these older home, one of Ottawa’s newest developments in the city, Central Park offers a mix of townhomes and single family homes on cul de sacs. Condominium apartments are also interspersed, and the area is well serviced by a variety retail districts nearby. In addition, both Carlington and Central Park neighbourhoods offer a short commute to the downtown core.
